WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?
My style is natural light, I'm focused on capturing colourful, fun and candid moments in as much natural light as I possibly can. I hate forcing moments to happen and I'm very much against posing my clients. I'm a non intrusive photographer, especially when it comes to formalities. After all you've got the pressure of your family starring at you the whole day, having a camera right up in your face for 10hrs is painful. Photographing weddings is very much like being a journalist, I'm there to capture your story and add my little natural, candid spin to it. Traditional photos are always part of the bargain, you've got to satisfy your family members, but uniquely quickly candid moments is what I'm all about.
WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE?
I use use multiple Canon 5D MKIII’s + 5D MKIV’s along with a variety of Canon L Series lenses, perfect for every job. I primarily edit on Lightroom 2024 and Photoshop Beta 2024
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDING & EVENTS?
HELLS YEAH I DO. WHEREVER YOU NEED ME, I’LL BE THERE!!!
Even if its 1hour distance, Interstate or Overseas. I’m just a drive, train or flight away!
WHAT'S THE PROCESS WITH BOOKING YOU? IS THERE PAPERWORK INVOLVED?
It’s easy – Simply fill out the Contact Form on our website, making sure you fill out all of the required areas.
I will then get in touch with you via email or a phone call. Then I will arrange a time and place to meet with you to finalise your booking and sign contracts. I will meet with you again a week prior to your wedding or events date to go over the finer details, during this time we create a run sheet to ensure that no moment is lost.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN WE BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
I recommend that you book as soon as you can. I take booking up to 1 year in advance, any date greater than that we can’t guarantee. I have a limited number of bookings per year to ensure each client has the highest quality of service. If your unsure whether or not we can book your date, please feel free to contact me and check.
WHAT IF OUR WEDDING RUNS LATER THAN EXPECTED?
I stay until the formalities are over, if you have booked a 'Full Day' package it is a standard 10 hour service. It is best if additional hours are discussed prior to the wedding day as I may have other commitments following your booking. Additional hours are billed at $150 per hour.
WE ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING YOU WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?
If we have the date available, we will send you our booking information form. A non-refundable 25% booking fee (non-refundable*) and a Signed Contract agreement is required to secure your date.

HOW LONG DOES OUR SECURE CLIENT GALLERY STAY ACTIVE FOR?
Each Clients secure online gallery will remain live and active on our hosted site for a period of 6 months after the date of service. Once that period has expired each clients gallery will be archived.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Once you have officially booked in, and the non-refundable deposit has been processed and confirmed, if you decide to cancel or postpone the service you will not be able to receive the deposit payment you previously made. This also applies to final payments for all of our Wedding Photography. Once the client has received the final package (AUS POST), if the client is not satisfied with the final package, he or she will not be able have the payments refunded to them, as Alex Winner Photography has completely rendered all services complete.
HOW DO WE PAY? WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Payments can be made through a direct deposit; with the banking details provided in an account Invoice delivered to you at the same times as your contract. I will be in contact to arrange meetings to discuss your ideas and plans.
HOW LONG AFTER MY WEDDING DAY WILL I RECEIVE OUR PACKAGE?
Alex Winner aims at delivering the highest quality of work for your wedding photos and video, so naturally making things perfect takes time.
Detailed in each client’s contracts is a time frame of 2-6 weeks* for Wedding Photography Packages.
*This is based on peak periods (spring/summer).
WILL I OR CAN I RETAIN/ VIEW THE RAW FILES FROM THE DATE OF SERVICE?
Alex Winner retains and reserves the right to all RAW information (ie. image and video files), the client is NOT allowed to view or retain any of the RAW information form their date of service. All RAW information from the date of service is kept for a period of 4 months after the date of service before it is converted into a smaller format (CR2 to JPEG) for lifetime storage in Backup Drives and Cloud Storage. If the client insists on retaining/ viewing the RAW information from their date of service it will be discussed with Alex Winner and WILL be subject to an additional cost.
